included Doug Whitney on guitar, banjo and mandolin and
Kenny Rhodes on vocals. |

The
Foremen's first album, FOLK HEROES, was recorded in 1993
and featured many of the band's formative songs which
mainly lampooned various folk music styles and idioms. |

second album, SING IT LOUD, was recorded live during the
summer of 1994 at Luna Park in West Hollywood, California
- - the club where The Foremen performed most often. |

In
1995 the band was signed by Warner/Reprise Records. The
first album produced under the Warner contract was named
FOLK HEROES (the original FOLK HEROES had had only a
limited release and, at the time, no one could come up
with a better name). |

WHAT'S
LEFT was the second (and final) Foremen album produced by
Warner/Reprise. Released in 1996, it contained several
songs pertaining to the upcoming Presidential election. |
